Kyrie/Leo Pups - Some LER Photos

Hello everyone! Ready for some pictures from the first Kyrie/Leo litter LER? :)

Ajax loves cheese...he was so determined to get it that is was really hard to get a good photo of him!

Andros just did NOT like the table...we had to really work to get him comfortable up there! He did love the cheese, though. :)

Astra is JUST like her momma Kyrie. Two seconds and we got her into a perfect stack, which she held while being fed enough cheddar cheese for a queen!

Here are the results of the temperament testing; we didn't have time to take still photos of the pups during that. Too busy trying to score and write down all my notes on the sheets!

Astra: Low-drive with an independent streak! Takes longer to bond, and will need lots of socialization with her new family (they live on campus, and she has already met over twenty new people, two cats, and three friendly Beagles in her first three days...I think they are rising to the challenge!). Very submissive (scored ten out of ten) and would have been a Soft temperament...if not for that stubborn streak, which I am pretty sure she got from her mom! ;) High pain tolerance. Could care about loud noises--turned around during that phase of the test and cocked her head at the tester! I had hoped that she might make a good service dog prospect for her new owner, who has some spinal/stability issues, and she is already starting to try to retrieve things for him. Go go Astra!

Andros: Very happy, people-oriented puppy! Loves to please, though is a little noise-sensitive and will need desensitization to loud stuff. He would have tested out as a harder temperament (high pain tolerance and lower submission) but is so very oriented on his people and doing things with them that Lisa graded him a Medium instead of Medium-Hard. He is a little uneasy in strange environments and a lot of socialization would be excellent for him--though given his propensity to go everywhere with his family, that shouldn't be hard!

Ajax: Equally happy with his people or off exploring, this pup is more submissive (eight out of ten) but doesn't forgive as easily. He also has a high pain tolerance. He has the most drive of all the pups--he loves to attack feet and toes, and to tug on clothes! His new people will need to set some boundaries, but he is a loving pup who adores attention, so that should make things a little easier. He startled at the loud noise but recovered quickly! He tested as a Medium temperament. :)

Hope y'all enjoyed the update! Next we have some new photos of Astra with one of her new people, and a couple pics of the boys while they wait to go to their new homes!
